UPLAND is working with Michael Napier Architects on the implementation of the Gorsebrook Park residential development. We are providing full landscape architectural services that include detailed landscape design, the preparation of tender documents and construction administration and construction review for tenant amenity space, private townhouse terraces, perimeter plantings and green roofs. The building will be flanked by a series of rectilinear corten steel planter boxes, acting as individual garden spaces for the townhouse tenants. The planters feature a year-round interest planting design. On the Southwest side of the building we have designed both private townhouse terrace spaces and outdoor multi-use amenity space for all tenants featuring a swimming pool and a lounge area with gas fed fire bowls. The pool side includes a corten steel planting box of feature trees and ornamental grasses creating a feeling of enclosure and privacy. The rear of the building steps down in terraces to adjoin the existing grade of the historic park, allowing tenants to access the park with ease. Also included in the design are green roof terraces on both the 9th and 10th floors. Construction 2017.
